Inspired by the celebrations we’ve shared with family and friends over the years, we envisioned a place where meaningful moments could unfold in a setting that is serene and extraordinary.
Located just 25 minutes from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, along the Grand Strand, and within easy driving distance of Whiteville, Wilmington, and North Carolina’s Brunswick County beaches, Indigo Hill adds a secluded, unique touch of Southern flair to traditional wedding and event venues. Our goal is to offer a beautiful destination where nature, elegance, and genuine hospitality come together to create lasting memories, while providing a private setting without sacrificing convenience.

July 2026 - Site Preparation Underway
Construction is officially underway! Site preparation has begun, including grading, utility planning, and preparing the foundation for the venue. The future ceremony area, reception hall, and parking areas are beginning to take shape.

And so it begins! Week 1 marked an exciting milestone at Indigo Hill Venue as the foundation was poured and our plans officially began coming to life. Who would have thought concrete could be so encouraging?

Week 2 brought walls - and a whole new level of anticipation!
Framing is underway! We got our hands in the dirt and started the landscaping around the sign. It’s been amazing to see what a difference one week can make!

Week 3 brought another big change!
The walls continued to go up, and for the first time, we could actually walk through the venue and see the different rooms taking shape. Spaces that we’ve looked at on paper for so long are finally coming together right in front of us.

The framing continued upward and we are getting a glimpse of the height and character of the Great Room. With the upper walls and roofline taking shape, it’s getting a little easier to imagine this space filled with family, friends, and celebrations.

This week was all about going up and closing in. Roof framing and exterior closing in certainly gave shape to the exciting height of the ceiling in the Great Room! Wow! It’s even more impressive in person!

This week, the exterior really began coming together as more of the building was enclosed and the rooflines took shape. Walking around the property now, we can finally see the full scale of the venue and how beautifully it sits among the surrounding woods.

Exciting progress continues!
Over the past two weeks, our building has made several big steps toward completion! The exterior wrapping is complete, windows are being installed, and work has begun on the HVAC system. Our roofing contractor also visited the site to take measurements in preparation for the roof installation. We met with an electrician as well to discuss plans for bringing lighting and power throughout the venue.
